Truthmachine

Counterpilot in association with Cluster Arts (Australia)

Would you take a lie-detector test in a room full of strangers? Watch on or be interrogated, as we seek out truth in a world of fake news and alternative facts. Using real biometric sensors and live voting systems, Truthmachine, is the multi award-winning social experiment from renowned techno-troublemakers Counterpilot. The polygraph machine used to be regarded as a legal instrument, but today we think we can cheat it. Let’s see if your heart-rate can lie as effectively as our leaders can.

‘An enigmatic live art conspiracy. No one else is making work quite like this… Second to none’ **** (The Age, Mebourne)

‘Genius… the technology is state of the art’ (BroadwayWorld.com)

‘Will leave you thinking long after it finishes’ (Courier Mail, Brisbane)

‘Gives off an alluring waft of danger and mystery’ (Creative Issue, Brisbane)

‘Intimate, intense and interesting. A truly atmospheric experience’ **** (This is Radelaide, Adelaide)
