Mischievous teenager Liu Songsong accidentally travels back to the time of the Tang Dynasty where he saves a young Li Bai, forming a close friendship. Encouraged by his new “prophetic” friend, Li Bai embarks on a journey of self-discovery, gradually becoming a poetic genius. Back in the present, Liu Songsong is challenged to a debate about Li Bai. He finds the key to winning by returning again to the Tang Dynasty.
