Today our clothes are kept waiting to go out and vibrate again in the streets. A videographic piece born from imagining the life-cycle of the textiles in which we live our lives, and from fantasising about the longing of our clothes to feel the skin again. Explores issues of ecology, humanity and quotidian habits. Created by award-winning Mexico City-based duo Daniela and Sergio Vázquez.

Vulny Daddy

A retrospective on the growth of individuals, in which the questioning of faith, love, anxiety and redemption is achieved away from the gaze of parents, family and usual community. This live contemporary dance performance with visual art installation was created in collaboration with choreographer and dancer Daniela Vazquez, producer and dancer Catalina Navarrete, and a team of 8 Mexican performing artists. This fresh dance piece explores layers of identity and questions the different stages of one’s personality, the need to belong, and to understand others and ourselves in our society. As ephemeral as a kiss and as strong as an embrace, the layers peel themselves off, leaving one never looking the same, and giving space for endless beginnings. Clay on Skin

Created during lockdown 2020 in Mexico City, this short piece reveals an oneiric transformation through desire and loneliness. A woman shares some of the emotions of a prolonged isolation period, letting the audience travel between a sexual edge and the ironic borderline of human imagination. Valentin Taricco plays multiple instruments on a rooftop overlooking the Caribbean Sea in Tulum, Mexico.
