Riding Alone

Shenzhen Puppet Art Theatre (China)

Please change the website copy toThis one-man puppet drama follows a young performing artist with more than 20 years experience in Chinese puppetry, on his journey of self-discovery as he learns, practices and ultimately passes on his skills. His personal growth is explored through the telling of the classic heroic Chinese story: three sworn brothers in the Taoyuan, riding alone for thousands of miles. Already a favourite at international puppetry festivals, Shenzhen Puppet Art Theatre use a variety of different puppets, string, stick, cloth bag and shadow figures to elevate the everyday in their vivid, innovative and heartwarming shows.
