This immersive, up-close dance experience delves into the complexities
of mother-daughter relationships, self-discovery, and healing from
maternal trauma. Featuring stunning original knitted installations and
costumes that may be touched the show is performed by an all-female
dance ensemble with dual leads. Weaving Me, Weaving Mum combines
knitting and dance to explore the intricacies of female identity through
the lens of real-life experiences of East Asian women seeking a path to
self-discovery and reconciliation. Join us on an intimate journey of
introspection and transformation.
