A double bill contemporary dance works by Ning Qiang and Harper Wang In White Silence, The body moves as snow moves. It gathers. It drifts. It settles. It disappears. White Silence begins there. Mirror State begins with a simple thought: We never see ourselves directly. We come to know ourselves through movement. Mirror State doesn't ask the body to perform. It asks it to notice. To hesitate. To return. To begin again.
