Terms and conditions for ticket sale, entry and viewing

1. Tickets are sold subject to the right of the management to make any alteration to the advertised programme, cast, company or timings due to circumstances beyond its or the presenter’s control, without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

2. Once sold, tickets may not be refunded, however exchanges may be carried out at the discretion of the management. If the value of the new transaction is be less than that of the initial transaction the difference may be forfeit, or at the management’s discretion a credit note may be issued for the difference. If the value of the next transaction is more than the initial transaction the difference must be paid. A fee may be charged for exchanges.

3. For physical performances every member of the audience must be in possession of a valid ticket, which must be produced to gain entry. Babes in arms may be admitted without a ticket as long as they do not occupy a seat during the performance, instead remaining on the lap of their parent or guardian for the duration. For ticketed digital performances every viewing device must be watched by a person who has been issued a ticket or is otherwise authorised to view the event

4. Concession-eligible persons should present their concession cards or proof of eligibility on booking and collection of tickets and may be asked to show proof on entry to the venue or performance space. The management may refuse ticket issuance or admission if concession eligibility cannot be proved.

5. The management reserve the right to refuse admission/viewing and to require patrons to undergo a search. If a patron behaves in a violent or obnoxious manner or in a way that the management consider may cause danger or discomfort to others or is otherwise inappropriate, or the management have cause for concern that this may happen, the management can require that the patron leaves the venue/viewing and will take appropriate action to enforce this right.

6. The use of recording or photography equipment of any kind is prohibited. Unauthorised recordings will be confiscated and cancelled. Mobile phones and devices which make a noise most be switched off or set to silent. We would ask that all electronic devices, including mobile phones, are switched off before you enter the performance space.

7. The management can accept no responsibility for the loss of or damage to any personal property of users of the venue or services. Any lost property handed into the venue may be held at reception.

8. The management sell tickets as an agent of the party presenting the work. The party presenting the work is listed in our publicity material and further details for them are available on request.

9. Telephone and internet bookings are subject to distance selling regulations and as such may have a cooling off period. If you have a query about how these apply to an advanced telephone or internet booking please contact the management.

10. Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person or group. The management reserve the right to cancel tickets purchased in excess of this number.

11. If tickets are resold or transferred for profit or commercial gain otherwise than as authorised by the management, then they will become void and the holder may be refused entry/viewing or ejected from the venue.

12. Performances may subject to interruption or delay owing to reasons beyond the management’s control. In particular, scheduled in-person or digital performances may be subject to over-running including of other performances earlier in the day or technical issues, in-person performances may be subject to disruption from adjacent events or happenings or local weather conditions, and digital performances may be subject to delay or disruption from technical or connectivity issues. The management will seek to resolve any such issues which occur.

13. If an in-person performance is disrupted but not abandoned, no refund will be offered. If any performance is cancelled or abandoned after it has started, ticket holders may be offered alternative performances (subject to availability), a digital on-demand viewing of the show (subject to availability), and where these are offered, ticket holders are not entitled to a refund, though a refund may be offered at the discretion of the management. If a digital performance is disrupted, delayed, or abandoned or cancelled without having started, ticket holders may be offered alternative digital or (where applicable) in-person performances (subject to availability), a digital on-demand viewing of the show (subject to availability), and where these are offered, ticket holders are not entitled to a refund. If an in-person performance is cancelled without having started, ticket holders may be offered ticket holders may be offered alternative performances (subject to availability), a digital on-demand viewing of the show (subject to availability), but are also entitled to the alternative of a full refund.

14. Where possible, the management will attempt to admit latecomers if and when a suitable break in the performance occurs but late admission cannot be guaranteed.

15. These terms and conditions may be varied by the management at any time. In the event of changes to these terms and conditions, the prevailing terms and conditions are those determined to apply by the management.

16. These conditions shall be governed by English Law.
