Planet Me
tarinainanika (Japan)
Planet Me is a multi-dimensional portrait of eight lives intersecting in
a far-flung yet familiar galaxy. The inhabitants are kept in orbit by
the activities of their daily lives. As their bodies go through the
motions of their daily routine, their souls trace another path, circling
endlessly around the suns of their individual desires. Using the unique
physical language of Corporeal Mime, as well as four spoken languages
(Japanese, English, Chinese and Bengali) the actors bring to life the
multiple layers of their existence: the mundane and the magical, the
strange and the beautiful, the personal and the universal.
